Beta Carotene is a compound that gives vivid yellow, orange, and red coloring to vegetables. It is one members of carotenoids which are large molecular weight organic compounds that are soluble in most organic reagents and generally insoluble in water. Alpha, beta, and gamma carotene are considered pro-vitamins because they can be converted to active vitamin A. Our beta carotene powder is water-soluble food color which is widely used for yellow to orange foods.
